About Laura
I build operational foundations that turn corporate strategy into global execution—and I coach leaders through the transitions that transformation demands.
My name is Laura Staub. I’m an ACC-certified executive coach (International Coaching Federation), transformation consultant, and founder of Hoko. I’m based in the Paris area, with deep ties to Tokyo where I lived and worked for three years.
My career started in operational excellence consulting at Sodexo, where I ran missions across 30 sites in Europe and Latin America, delivering up to 29% in operational savings. I then managed global project portfolios in defense and telecom—including NATO programs—before leading international transformation projects at Capgemini Invent, where Lean implementations I led identified 44% in savings.
For the past seven years, I’ve been at Asmodee, the world’s leading board game company (1.4B€ revenue, 100+ markets). As a Transformation Program Manager reporting to the Executive Committee, I aligned 45+ business units on a common end-to-end operational process spanning product design through delivery. I contributed to the operational strategy behind the €2.75B acquisition by Embracer Group and restructured supply chain teams of 40+ people through COVID and logistics crises. Today, I manage the Social Games portfolio at Asmodee while continuing my coaching practice through Hoko.
I hold a Master’s degree from IÉSEG School of Management. I’m certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the ICF, trained by CoachU, and hold a psychometric certification from Praditus. I speak French, English, and Spanish at native level, with elementary Japanese.
I also serve as a Board Member advocating for women’s empowerment in Japan.
My approach to coaching
I don’t come from a psychology or HR background—I come from the field. I’ve managed transformation programs across continents, navigated post-merger integrations, restructured teams through crisis, and built processes that scaled across dozens of countries.
That operational DNA shapes how I coach. I help my clients think in systems, build actionable plans, and execute with clarity. Whether you’re a senior leader preparing for your next move, a professional relocating internationally, or an entrepreneur scaling your organization, I bring structure to ambiguity.
My coaching is grounded in ICF ethics, CoachU methodology, and Praditus psychometric tools—but it’s the 15+ years of real-world transformation experience that makes the difference.
